The ITU Maritime Faculty (YDO) Alumni Social Assistance Foundation aims to provide scholarship support to needy students and academics. Since its establishment in 1995, our foundation has been working towards this goal. Donations made to our foundation are directed towards social assistance and scholarships for mariners and maritime families.

Since its establishment, our foundation has provided over 10,000 instances of social assistance, including support for academics and students.

In 2024, our foundation is regularly providing financial support to 202 students each month and assisting nearly 20 families.
